Experience Flight in International Aviation Centre on Helicopter Simulator and visit the Neanderthal Museum in Krapina. This is a unique tour of Europe’s largest International training Centre for Military and Civil Aviation – Helispace.
Our first stop will be in Helicentre Toplice – Situated in Krapinske Toplice, only 45 kilometres from the capital of Croatia – Zagreb. The Centre has been specially designed, built and equipped in detail for helicopter aircrew and technical personnel training. Today the Aviation Training Centre is the exclusive centre in Europe where a Mi-17 Full Flight Simulator (FFS) is installed. During theoretical training technical personnel uses modern systems (CBT) which are based on animation and 3D models of helicopter systems and instruments. Become a pilot for a day!
You will also be able to see a collection of Helicopter gunships from around the world – and possibly meet the pilot! Children’s educational programs available on request.
We will drive only for a short while to the next exciting stop – one of the best multimedia museums in Europe – KRANEAMUS – Krapina Neanderthal Museum. The interior of the Museum is made of concrete, and is made to mimic stone, thus reinforcing the effect of a prehistoric habitat, while the visitor, just like the Neanderthal man used to, can observe the surroundings.
Our tour will continue to the picturesque hills of Zagorje where we shall find our unique countryside restaurant – a traditional lunch awaits here!

- Pick up in your hotel at 10:00 am and depart hotel for Krapina (45 Km)-app. 1 hour drive
- Visit the Helicentre – with a tablet in your hand , the tour includes an exhibition of different aircraft models, educational materials within lounge rooms, gallery of pictures by pilots authors, pilots’ suits, training facilities for pilots
- Visit the Simulator area – starting from briefing room onto the practical simulators. Pilot suits available for the visitors to enhance the experience. Ticket includes 5 minutes of simulator flight in HeliFly (two persons can enter at the time)
- Ticket includes another full motion simulator for racing car – HeliDrive (choose one of the 6 racing tracks- for persons above 1.40cm)
- Visit the Krapina Neanderthal Museum
- After the exploration, drive to through the scenic roads to countryside restaurant
- Traditional lunch and wine included
