A half day trip
This tour is ideal if you have a whole day in Zagreb and wish to see most of it! It will be my pleasure to adjust it to your wishes.
It is the most leisurely and complete tour of Zagreb so you’ll never miss the highlights nor the true essence of the culture. A comfortable panoramic ride from your hotel is there to grasp the whole of the lower part of the city. We’ll do a lot of talk over any controversial questions you might have about the city, the country, past and present times.
A delicious coffee break is also included. There will be a visit to the monumental cemetery Mirogoj, one of the best of Europe’s sculptural cemeteries which many compare to the Paris’ one!
Our style is friendly and leisurely, with love and humor we’ll bring into the tour all the personal experiences and insights of the local person born and raised in Zagreb. Well, can’t wait to see you here!
ITINERARY
The tour is designed so you won’t miss any of the famous sites, but we can customize it to fit your wishes:
- Downtown Zagreb/panoramic drive passes by Croatian National Theatre, Croatian National Library, Botanical gardens, etc
- Stop at the famous sculptural cemetery Mirogoj
- Walk through the main square Trg Bana Jelačića
- Take a ride on Funicular
- Photo stop at St. Catherine’s square
- Stop at the Museum of Broken relationship
- Photo stop at St. Mark’s square St. Mark’s church (outside)
- Pass by The Parliament building
- Walk through the Stone Gate
- Walk throughTkalčićeva Street
- Visit the market “Dolac”
- Visit the Gothic Cathedral (outside during the renovation)
Wine tasting is optional at the end of the tour. Please let us know if you wish to make any reservations, we’ll be happy to recommend.
