What We Help With at Every Stage

We help you through the booking properly — from choosing the right yacht and understanding the costs, to planning the route, organising the crew, and handling the practical details before departure. The aim is simple: clarity from the start, and a charter that feels easy to step into.

We shortlist yachts, catamarans, gulets, and private options that fit your dates, group size, budget, and style of travel.

02

Common Questions

Frequently Asked

A few of the questions we are asked most often before booking a yacht charter in Croatia.

Ask Us Directly →
What types of yacht charter do you offer in Croatia?
We offer bareboat charters (where you skipper the boat yourself), fully crewed charters with captain, chef, hostess and engineer, and skippered bareboat options. We cover Croatia, Greece, Italy, Spain, Turkey and beyond — from sailing yachts to luxury catamarans and gulets.
How far in advance should I book a yacht charter in Croatia?
For July and August (peak season), we recommend booking 12 months in advance. June and September typically require 6 months' notice for the best vessel selection. Shoulder season (May and October) is more flexible, though early booking is always advantageous to secure your preferred yacht.
What documents are needed to charter a bareboat yacht?
The skipper must hold a valid ICC or equivalent national licence, plus a VHF radio operator's certificate. Passport copies are required for all crew members. Originals must be presented at check-in. If you don't hold the required licence, we can arrange a qualified skipper on your behalf.
What is the APA (Advance Provisioning Allowance)?
The APA is a running expenses fund typically set at 30% of the charter fee. It covers fuel, port and marina berth fees, provisioning (food and drinks onboard), and other operational costs. Any unused portion is refunded at the end of your trip.
Can we customise the sailing route?
Absolutely — all itineraries are sample routes and starting points, not fixed schedules. Tihana and the T&T team will adjust every route to match your group's interests, from wine detours on the Pelješac peninsula to extended stays in Korčula or Vis. Final itineraries are subject to skipper approval and weather conditions.
What is the best time of year to charter a yacht in Croatia?
Our personal recommendation is September — warm sea temperatures (around 24°C), lighter marina crowds, better anchorage availability, and the Dalmatian harvest season bringing the finest figs, grapes and fresh seafood of the year. June is also excellent. July and August offer the best weather but require advance booking.
