Let’s get to the coast! Just two hours’ drive from Zagreb, yet another surprise awaits  – Rijeka!
Rijeka is Croatia’s third-largest city and a bustling blend of gritty 20th-century port and Italianate Habsburg grandeur. In spite of being a vital transport hub for the ships, it is a delight – charming and full of considerable cultural.

After the stop in Rijeka and stroll, we’ll descend to the coastal beauty of Croatia – Opatija, one of the oldest posh resorts in Europe. From Opatija, we shall continue to yet another splendid attraction of the region – the truffle hunting with one of the famous Istrian families, cherishing this tradition for generations in the Istrian town Buzet.

The cherry on the top will be a four-course meal after the truffle hunting!

ITINERARY

We can customize this tour to fit your preferences.

  • Pick up in your hotel at 8:00 am, depart for Rijeka
    Explore the old Habsburg’s port town of Rijeka – walk down the Korzo, Rijeka’s main pedestrian street
  • Continue to Opatija
    Enjoy coffee with a view within the aristocratic and posh ambiance of Opatija
  • Continue 40 minutes drive to Buzet – a stunning family property awaits for unique Truffle hunting experience, where you will be able to savor the sumptuous 4-course meal after the truffle hunting (2-2, 5 hours)

We will pick you up at your hotel in Zagreb and drop you off at the hotel. The exact timing should be agreed upon and specified at the time of booking.
