A Croatia journey that combines a stand-alone one-week gulet charter with separately arranged pre-cruise and post-cruise land extensions
This journey is designed for travellers who want to experience Croatia by sea, without giving up the pleasure of time on land. It begins in Split, continues with a one-week Adriatic cruise through some of Dalmatia's most rewarding islands, and finishes with time in Dubrovnik rather than a same-day disembarkation and departure.
Split gives it a relaxed and well-paced beginning, the week at sea brings the light Adriatic rhythm many travellers come for, and Dubrovnik allows the experience to end properly, with time to settle back onto land before travelling home. The result is a journey that feels complete, varied, and thoughtfully paced throughout.
The program has three distinct parts. It begins with two nights in Split before boarding. The middle section is a seven-night gulet cruise through Dalmatia. The final part is a two-night stay in Dubrovnik after disembarkation.
Split brings Roman history and everyday Mediterranean life. The gulet week moves through Šolta, Hvar's old towns, Korčula's fortified centre, Vis's quieter military-history character, the Blue Cave on Biševo, and Milna on Brač. Dubrovnik brings the journey to a strong, unhurried finish.
The yacht for this program is Gulet Pacha — a traditional wooden gulet based in Split, 28 metres, with four en suite guest cabins and a professional crew of four. She is well suited to private groups who want a classic Croatia sailing experience with good space, proper service, and an easy rhythm on board.
Arrival in Split and private transfer to your hotel in the old part of the city. The rest of the day is left easy, allowing time to settle in.
Private walking tour of Split, focused on Diocletian's Palace and the older heart of the city. The rest of the afternoon is left open for a slower lunch, beach time, or simply enjoying the city at your own pace.
Boarding around midday, followed by the first sail out towards Maslinica on Šolta. A gentle start to the week, with time to settle into life on board.
Cruise along the coast towards Stari Grad, one of the oldest towns in this part of Europe. The pace here is quieter than Hvar Town.
A shorter sailing day brings the route to Hvar Town. Swim stops along the way before arriving into one of the Adriatic's best-known harbours.
Continue south to Korčula, often called Little Dubrovnik because of its walls and old stone centre.
Cruise onwards to Vis, an island with a quieter, more self-contained feel. Its old military past and slower pace make it distinctive.
Sail to Komiža and, weather permitting, continue to the Blue Cave on Biševo.
The final full sailing day leads to Milna on Brač. A quieter end to the week, with time for one last swim.
Morning disembarkation in Split, followed by private transfer to Dubrovnik via Ston.
Private walking tour of Dubrovnik's Old Town, with time afterwards to enjoy a slower final day.
Private transfer to Dubrovnik Airport for departure.
