Croatia offers more variety than many travellers expect. Historic cities, islands, national parks, vineyards, and quieter inland corners — all within one well-planned journey.
How We Design Itineraries
We design private Croatia itineraries that feel clear, well-paced, and easy to enjoy. Some travellers want a classic first trip through the country. Others are looking for something slower, more coastal, more food-led, or a route that goes a little beyond the obvious.
The shape of the journey always depends on how you like to travel. These sample itineraries give you a starting point — from there, we fine-tune the pace, stays, and overall flow around you.
“If you are not sure where to begin, flight access is often the best place to start. From there, the route usually becomes much clearer.”Start the Conversation →
An Overview
Croatia may be small, but it offers a great deal within a relatively short distance. Roman cities, island harbours, national parks, vineyards, historic towns, and quieter corners of the coast can all sit comfortably within one trip if the route is planned properly. We design itineraries that move well, so the journey feels balanced rather than busy.
Many travellers are drawn to a classic first route through Croatia, linking Zagreb, Plitvice Lakes, Split, Hvar, and Dubrovnik in one memorable journey. Green inland landscapes, the coast, islands, food, and culture — all within one well-balanced trip.
It works well as a self-drive, even better with private transfers, and best of all with the right balance between independence and support.
Plitvice Lakes
Hvar Island
Many of our itineraries follow the natural rhythm of the Adriatic — Split, Hvar, Korčula, then south towards Dubrovnik.
The goal is not to fit in as much as possible. The goal is to make the journey feel smooth, enjoyable, and well judged — for travellers who want an island-hopping feel without constantly unpacking too quickly.
Waterfalls, wine roads, and hilltop towns. From Zagreb and Plitvice into Istria for food, wine, scenic drives, and a different rhythm altogether.
Places like Zagorje, Rovinj, Motovun, and Opatija give a journey more character. This part of Croatia is green, layered, and visually softer — extending naturally towards Venice, Trieste, or Vienna.

Istrian Hill Towns
Lake Bled, Slovenia
Elegant Ljubljana, Alpine Lake Bled, then back into Croatia for Plitvice, Split, Hvar, and Dubrovnik. An excellent combination for travellers who want more variety within one trip while keeping the route smooth and manageable.
Starting in the south allows travellers to begin with the Adriatic feeling straight away, then move gradually through Dalmatia, inland Croatia, and onwards towards Slovenia.
Coast, islands, wine, history, national parks, elegant cities — and a reminder that the strongest Croatia itinerary does not always begin in the same place.
For travellers with more time, Croatia opens up in a much more relaxed and rewarding way. Zagreb, Plitvice Lakes, and Opatija as a comfortable base for Istria and the Kvarner region, before continuing south towards Split, the islands, and Dubrovnik.
Using Opatija as a base works particularly well — easy access to Pula, Rovinj, Motovun, and Grožnjan without changing hotels constantly. Variety throughout, but the route holds together beautifully.
